The Boyz's Eric sustains knee injury during 'INTER-ZECTION' concert in Seoul

The Boyz's Eric has sustained a knee injury while performing during day 1 of the group's 2026 solo concert, 'INTER-ZECTION' in Seoul. According to the concert production company The Bright World, Eric will perform while sitting for part of the remaining shows due to several diagnoses to his knee. 

"Hello. This is The Bright World, the production company of The Boyz's concert. 

During yesterday's performance, The Boyz's Eric sustained a knee injury. 

Immediately after the show, Eric went in for an MRI scan and received emergency treatment. Upon revisiting the hospital this morning, he was diagnosed with articular cartilage damage and a partial rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, based on his detailed MRI results.

The medical experts advised that he refrain from overexertion, including any choreography, and that he needed ample rest to recuperate.

The artist himself strongly wished to perform on stage as to not disappoint his fans; however, prioritizing the artist's health in the long term, it has been decided that Eric will sit while performing for a part of the show.

We deeply empathize with fans who may feel disappointed after their long wait; nonetheless, we ask for your understanding. Please be assured that this decision was inevitable so that the artist would be able to recover and continue his promotions in a healthy state.

We will do our best to support the artist as he receives treatment and undergoes recovery so that he may return to his top form.

Meanwhile, The Boyz's 2026 solo concert 'INTER-ZECTION' will continue from April 25-26 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.

In other news, the Seoul Central District Court most recently ruled in favor of The Boyz in an injunction request filed against their agency, One Hundred Label. The court ruled that the exclusive contracts of 9-members of The Boyz were no longer valid due to One Hundred Label's failure to fulfill its duties to the artists.
