Wonpil brings barrier-free innovation to solo concert

DAY6 member Wonpil will take the stage solo at Jamsil Indoor Stadium.

Wonpil is set to hold his solo concert “WONPIL SOLO CONCERT ‘Unpiltered’” from May 1 to 3 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa, Seoul. This marks his first solo concert in approximately four years and two months since “Pilmography” in March 2022. The event has drawn significant attention, with all tickets for all three shows selling out.

In line with the title of his solo album 'Unpiltered,' released on March 30, the concert will feature live performances of all tracks from the album. Known for his lyrical vocals and delicate emotional expression, Wonpil is expected to present a deeper and more refined musical world as a solo artist.

Beyond the performances, the concert will also focus on accessibility. To ensure all audiences can fully experience the show, barrier-free infrastructure has been implemented. In collaboration with HearCycle, JYP Entertainment will introduce an assistive listening system (Auracast) that transmits audio directly to receivers without spatial limitations—marking the first such initiative by a Korean entertainment company.

Meanwhile, Wonpil continues his global activities as part of DAY6’s 10th anniversary tour 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour < The DECADE >.' His solo mini album “Unpiltered,” for which he wrote and composed all tracks, has been well received for its diverse sound and emotionally resonant messages.
