WOODZ and Jennie have revealed a friendship spanning over a decade, drawing attention from fans.
On April 29, WOODZ uploaded a new video on his YouTube channel titled “Why bother date with JENNIE,” inviting Jennie as a guest.
In the video, the two shared that although they have been close for years, it was their first time greeting each other in front of a camera, laughing awkwardly before naturally reminiscing about their past.
WOODZ revealed, “I’ve known Jennie for about 10 years,” while Jennie recalled, “I remember meeting him for the first time at a high school festival.”
Their connection did not end there. The two later became trainees under the same agency, spending time together as they went back and forth to practice, which naturally brought them closer.
Jennie shared that WOODZ was the one who first approached her, saying he wanted to become friends, while WOODZ added with a laugh that he simply “wanted to be a fun friend.”
Adding to the surprise, the two also revealed that they attended the same elementary school. Jennie explained, “A lot of people wonder why we’re close, but our connection goes deeper than expected.”

Throughout the video, the pair displayed a comfortable and playful chemistry, exchanging jokes and showing how well they know each other after years of friendship.
Meanwhile, Jennie praised WOODZ, saying, “He always releases great music and works really hard, which I admire,” adding that she continues to support him, creating a warm and heartwarming moment.
