2PM successfully fulfilled a decade-old promise by returning to Tokyo Dome for a large-scale solo concert.
The group held '2PM Japan 15th Anniversary Concert ‘THE RETURN’ in TOKYO DOME' on May 9 and 10, celebrating the 15th anniversary of its Japanese debut while performing for a total of 85,000 fans over two days.
After first performing at Tokyo Dome in 2013 and returning for a second concert in 2016, the members had promised fans they would come back again — a promise finally realized 10 years later.
Members Jun. K, Nichkhun, Ok Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Lee Junho, and Hwang Chansung performed a 25-song setlist live over more than three hours each night.
The concert featured songs spanning 2PM’s Japanese career, from debut single “Take Off” to Oricon chart-topper “Guilty Love.”
The members shared, “This concert was designed to show everything that makes up 2PM, focusing heavily on performances. Our shirts underneath our jackets were completely soaked with sweat, so we hope the audience’s cheers match the passion we poured into the stage.”
One of the night’s standout moments came during “I’m Your Man,” when the group’s signature shirt-ripping performance sparked explosive reactions from the crowd, reminding fans why 2PM earned the nickname “beast idols.”
Throughout the concert, the members expressed heartfelt gratitude to fandom HOTTEST.
Jun. K said, “I’m beyond happy to stand here again after promising 10 years ago that we would return. 2PM exists because fans stayed by our side.”
Nichkhun added, “These two days felt like a dream. I truly felt everyone’s long-lasting love, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget this.”
Taecyeon remarked, “Standing on stage together as six members makes me realize how happy I am. Let’s stay together through our 20s, 30s, and even into our 80s.”
Wooyoung also shared, “I’m thankful we could keep our promise to stand on stage together as six again. 2PM activities are the most precious part of my life.”
Junho described the Tokyo Dome reunion as “a miracle,” saying, “You can’t stand here just because you’ve been active for a long time. I’ll hold onto the belief that we’re connected and look forward to meeting again.”
Chansung concluded, “HOTTEST are the shining stars in 2PM’s night sky. Thanks to the loving eyes of our fans, we were able to complete the concerts safely.”
Following the success of the Tokyo Dome shows, 2PM will hold “2026 2PM Concert ‘THE RETURN’ in INCHEON” at Inspire Arena on August 8 and 9.
