BoA reveals new look with blonde transformation after leaving SM Entertainment

Singer BoA has drawn attention with a striking new visual transformation.

On May 23, BoA shared a short video on her personal social media account with the caption, “Yeon Jin… I’m really excited hehe.” In the clip, she is seen playfully interacting with staff on what appears to be a filming set, dancing and joking around in a lighthearted mood. She also laughed while saying, “I want to tease ○○ when I see them,” showing her relaxed and cheerful personality.

What caught fans’ attention most was her dramatically changed appearance. BoA appeared with a short bob hairstyle styled in waves, dyed blonde, creating a fresh and noticeably different atmosphere compared to her previous image.

Fans reacted enthusiastically, leaving comments such as “She looks like a completely different person from the teaser,” “So cute,” “As expected, BoA,” and “Who is this gorgeous gyaru older sister?”

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment announced that BoA’s exclusive contract expired in December last year. The singer has since established her own one-person agency, BApal Entertainment, in March this year. She is now preparing for her comeback with a new digital single, "Ain’t No Hard Feelings," scheduled for release on May 30.
