CORTIS is drawing attention after receiving praise from major international media outlets for its second mini album 'GREENGREEN'.
Released on May 4 KST, the album was jointly created by members Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Gunho, who participated across music, choreography, video production, and overall creative content.
Forbes praised the group, saying, “Right now, CORTIS is truly riding a ‘GREENGREEN’ wave,” while highlighting the team’s clear direction and teamwork as a next-generation global artist. The outlet also noted that each of the album’s six tracks carries a distinctly different sound.
VMAN focused on the group’s artistic growth, writing that CORTIS has become “more refined creatively” since its first mini album and that the members now show greater confidence in defining themselves as artists.
Meanwhile, Dazed described the album as “rougher, more detailed, and intentionally sharper” than the group’s previous work. The magazine additionally commented that CORTIS’ unfiltered and slightly imperfect yet playful image has become a strength in an era where the idea of “authenticity” is often overused.
The title track "REDRED" also received positive reactions. Forbes highlighted the song’s addictive chorus and upbeat beat, while Entertainment Tonight previously selected it as one of the most anticipated new songs ahead of the album’s release.
