Former PRISTIN member Jung Eunwoo shared an update on her current life, revealing that she is now working as a manager at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam, Seoul.
On May 29, Jung Eunwoo posted a video on her social media account along with the caption, “Former idol, Eunwoo.”
In the video, she candidly introduced her past, saying, “I used to be an idol. That’s me. I appeared on ‘Superstar K4,’ ‘The Voice Kids,’ ‘Produce 101,’ and then became an idol. But now, well… things turned out differently.”
She also expressed mixed emotions after seeing former trainees and idols reunite after many years. “Seeing friends reunite after 10 years makes me feel even more regretful,” she said, referring to the recent comeback activities of I.O.I.
Jung Eunwoo further reflected on her current situation, saying, “I’m 28 now. I can’t just log out of society. I need to do something to make a living. I decided to become a manager at a Gangnam plastic surgery clinic. It’s probably easier than being a successful idol, right?” She then participated in the dance challenge for I.O.I’s new song “Suddenly.”
Jung Eunwoo originally debuted as a member of PRISTIN alongside members including former I.O.I members Lim Na Young and Kyulkyung. The group disbanded in May 2019. She later re-debuted in November 2019 as a member of HINAPIA with former PRISTIN members Gyeongwon, Minkyeung, and Yebin. However, the group disbanded again in August 2020.
Since then, Jung Eunwoo has transitioned out of the idol industry and is now continuing her career in a completely different field, while still occasionally engaging with fans through social media.
