Han So Hee turns heads at Cannes with bold jacket-only red carpet look

Han So Hee captured attention at the Cannes Film Festival with a daring and stylish fashion statement on the red carpet.

On May 17 local time, Han So Hee attended the red carpet event for competition entry Garance at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Making her first-ever appearance on the Cannes red carpet, the actress wore an all-black outfit paired with bold jewelry and a cropped jacket worn without an inner top, showcasing a confident and chic look. Her dark smoky makeup further emphasized her sophisticated charisma.

As a global ambassador for French luxury jewelry brand Boucheron, Han So-hee was one of the surprise celebrity attendees at this year’s festival. She also attended the Kering-hosted Women in Motion Awards following the red carpet appearance.

Ahead of the event, online attention had already grown after reports surfaced that Han So Hee’s former boyfriend, Ryu Jun Yeol, was also spotted attending the festival, sparking speculation over a possible reunion at Cannes.

The 79th Cannes Film Festival opened on May 12 and runs through May 23. This year, acclaimed director Park Chan-wook serves as jury president. Korean films including Hope by director Na Hong Jin and The Ugly by Yeon Sang-ho were also invited for premiere screenings at the festival.
