Hyolyn hospitalized due to sudden health issue, cancels Taiwan performance

Hyolyn will be unable to attend an upcoming overseas performance due to health issues.

On May 27 KST, her agency ReH Entertainment announced that Hyolyn would no longer participate in the upcoming 'Fubon Guardians G! POP Music Festival' scheduled to take place in Taipei on May 30.

According to the agency, the artist was suddenly taken to the hospital following an unexpected medical emergency and is currently receiving inpatient treatment under medical advice.

The company stated, “The artist was transported to the hospital due to a sudden emergency situation, and according to medical staff, she must prioritize hospitalization, treatment, and rest at this time.”

As a result, the agency explained that after comprehensively considering Hyolyn’s health condition and safety, she would be unable to attend the event.

The statement also noted that Hyolyn was deeply disappointed about missing the opportunity to meet fans through the performance and plans to focus fully on recovery and treatment so she can regain her health as soon as possible.
