Jeon So Mi talks about the past tension with Kim Se Jeong and Kim Do Yeon

Jeon So Mi opened up about past conflicts with Kim Se Jeong and Kim Do Yeon during their I.O.I days.

On the May 4 broadcast of the SBS variety show 'Uh, But Like Seriously!,' I.O.I members reunited to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary.

During the episode, the members shared that they missed living together in their old dorm. Jeon So Mi then recalled various incidents from the past while living with the members.

She shared a story of how she was scolded by Kim Se Jeong. Jeon So Mi explained, “About 10 years ago, we had a monthly meeting. I had school the next day and a packed schedule, so I lay down while listening to the meeting.”

At the time, Kim Se Jeong purportedly told her, “Everyone else, including the older members, is sitting during a group meeting. I don’t think it’s respectful to lie down.” Jeon So Mi added, “I immediately got up and stayed attentive for the rest of the meeting.”

When asked if she had shared the full story, Jeon So Mi confirmed that she had. Tak Jae Hoon then reacted by agreeing to Kim Se Jeong scolding Jeon So Mi, and said, “How can the youngest be lying down?” Kim Se Jeong chimed in, “I don’t remember it, but even hearing it now, I think it's only right for everyone to be sitting up during the meeting.”

Kim Se Jeong added, “Everyone there was tired,” to which Jeon So Mi agreed, joking, “What was scarier than her words were the 11 pairs of eyes staring at me,” drawing laughter.

Jeon So Mi also revealed she once had a conflict with Kim Do Yeon over her tone of speech. Kim Do Yeon explained, “I’m similar to Kim Se Jeong. Actually, So Mi and I are close in age—only about two years apart.”

Jeon So Mi elaborated, “She said she wanted bread, so I told her to go ahead and eat it, but she responded, ‘What’s with your tone?’” Kim Do Yeon reenacted the situation differently, prompting the MCs to joke that she was adjusting her tone to favor her side.

Host Lee Soo Ji then asked whether Jeon So Mi tends to apologize and correct herself when older members point things out. Jeon Somi replied, “Absolutely not. I stand my ground to the end,” adding to the laughter.
