JYP is continuing its meaningful partnership through a new charitable initiative aimed at supporting pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation treatment.
On May 19, JYP held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) ceremony at the JYP Center in Seongnae-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, as part of its EDM social contribution project dedicated to covering rehabilitation medical expenses for children and teenagers.
During the ceremony, JYP Vice President Byun Sang Bong donated 100 million KRW (approximately 66,387 USD) to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital. The donation will be used to support rehabilitation treatment costs for patients up to the age of 24.
Starting with the 100 million KRW (about 66,387 USD) contribution, JYP pledged to continue providing long-term support so that patients and their families can receive necessary treatment while easing their financial burden.
“We believed support should extend beyond surgeries and treatments to rehabilitation as well,” said Byun. “We hope this contribution will help advance the pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation system.”
Representatives from Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital also expressed gratitude for JYP’s continued support, stating that the donation would be used to provide practical assistance to patients and families in need of treatment.
Under its social contribution slogan 'EDM (Every Dream Matters!),' JYP has been carrying out various charitable projects and campaigns.
Among them, the EDM medical expense support program has become one of the company’s signature CSR initiatives. Since its launch in 2020, the program has donated a total of 7.92 billion KRW (approximately 5.26 million USD) over the past six years through 2025.
JYP also plans to continue expanding its social contribution efforts this year through additional EDM volunteer activities and the 'Love Earth campaign,' alongside its medical expense support initiatives.
