BY Alec06 · May 11, 2026

Lee Seung Gi has returned to his music career while receiving warm support from fans following news of his second child.

Lee Seung Gi shared photos from the waiting room of "Immortal Songs" on his social media account, along with images of coffee trucks sent by fans.

In the released photos, Lee Seung gi smiled brightly inside a dressing room decorated with a welcome banner reading, “Welcome, prince of ballads.”

Fans also sent supportive messages through coffee trucks, including phrases such as, “Lee Seung gi, always shining,” and “We’re sending warm coffee and support instead of words that are hard to say.” The gestures drew attention especially after the singer recently faced issues surrounding his exclusive contract with his agency.

The recording for “Immortal Songs” was organized as a special episode dedicated to renowned composer Kim Do Hoon, who created several of Lee Seung gi’s hit songs including 'Words That Are Hard To Say', 'The Unfinished Story', and 'Will You Marry Me'.

The reunion between the singer and composer is drawing strong anticipation from music fans. Lee Seung Gi previously won the “2025 Oh My Star” special edition of the program with his powerful vocals, raising expectations for his upcoming performance.

The two-part special will also feature notable vocalists including Bada, Gummy, K.Will, and Lee Seok hoon.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi and actress Lee Da In married in 2023 and welcomed their first daughter the following year. The couple recently announced that they are expecting their second child, bringing another joyful milestone to their family life.

Lee Seung gi’s “Immortal Songs” special dedicated to Kim Do hoon will air on June 6 and June 13 on KBS2.
