MONSTA X unit Shownu X Hyungwon is set to make a long-awaited return.
On May 4 KST, Starship Entertainment released a “coming soon” teaser video through MONSTA X’s official social media, announcing the upcoming mini album 'LOVE ME.'
The teaser captured attention with symbolic visuals incorporating the unit’s logo and the album’s message. Objects such as a scale with an apple, candy, flower petals, spilled water, and an apple engraved with “LOVE ME” appeared throughout the clip, repeatedly emphasizing the album’s title.
This marks the duo’s first comeback in approximately two years and ten months since their debut mini album 'THE UNSEEN,' released in July 2023. At the time, they formed MONSTA X’s first official unit, with Hyungwon producing the title track “Love Me A Little” and Shownu contributing to choreography, showcasing strong musicality and teamwork.
Since then, the pair has continued to perform at various festivals and concerts, impressing audiences with their powerful stage presence and distinctive vocal colors, even as a two-member unit.
