
Taeyong of NCT has claimed top positions on multiple global music charts with his first full-length solo album 'WYLD'.
Released on May 18 at 6 PM, the album topped Korea’s Circle Chart retail album chart, while the title track "WYLD" reached No. 1 on Bugs’ real-time chart.
The album also demonstrated strong popularity in Japan, with all tracks from “WYLD” ranking consecutively from No. 1 to No. 10 on the real-time rising chart of Japanese streaming platform AWA.
In addition, “WYLD” topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in eight regions including Chile, Poland, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The album also entered the Top 10 in 15 regions including Australia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and Türkiye.
The title track likewise ranked No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts across eight regions including Argentina, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Laos, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Taeyong’s first full-length album “WYLD” consists of 10 tracks, all featuring the artist’s participation in production. The hip-hop title track draws inspiration from the instinctive movements of wild animals and highlights Taeyong’s distinctive musical style.
