Netflix Announces ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ World Tour Following Global Phenomenon

Netflix has officially announced a global concert tour for the animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters.'

On May 14, Netflix revealed through its Tudum event that it will launch the 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' global concert tour, bringing the world of the hit film to live audiences around the world.

The upcoming world tour is a spin-off project inspired by the animated movie. Netflix described it as a “live performance experience that vividly recreates elements from the film.”

For the tour, Netflix will collaborate with AEG Presents, a major U.S. entertainment company. Additional details regarding tour dates and venues are expected to be unveiled later this year.

Amy Reinhard, President of Advertising at Netflix, shared, “Fans of ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ will be able to experience the characters and music they love up close.

'K-Pop Demon Hunters' centers around K-pop idols who secretly work as demon hunters. The story follows the girl group HUNTR/X as they battle against the evil spirit boy group Saja Boys.

The film became a worldwide sensation, surpassing 300 million cumulative views, making it the first Netflix content to reach the milestone. The achievement even surpassed the explosive success of 'Squid Game.' It won two trophies at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards and received two awards, including Best Original Song, at the 98th Academy Awards.

Its original soundtrack became a major global music hit as well. “Golden” has remained near the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 46 consecutive weeks.

Songs performed by HUNTR/X were sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. Tracks for Saja Boys were performed by Andrew Choi, Kevin Woo, Danny Chung, Neckwav, and samUIL Lee.
