Park Eun Bin shared her thoughts on reuniting with director Yoo In Shik for the upcoming The Wonderfools following their successful collaboration on 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo'.

On May 12, a production presentation for Netflix’s “The Wonderfools” was held at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul. Director Yoo In shik attended alongside cast members including Park Eun Bin, Choi Dae Hoon, Lim Sung Jae, Kim Hae Sook, Son Hyun Joo, Jung Yi Seo, Choi Yoon Ji, and Bae Na Ra.

“The Wonderfools” is a comic adventure series set in 1999 that follows ordinary neighborhood misfits who suddenly gain superpowers and struggle to protect the world from villains threatening peace.

Park Eun bin plays “Eun Chaeni,” an unpredictable character who gains teleportation abilities. Suffering from heart disease since childhood, Chaeni has lived while giving up on many aspects of life, resulting in a reckless and impulsive personality.

Reflecting on her reunion with Yoo In shik, Park Eun bin said, “This was a project I started because I wanted to have fun.”

She added, “When I first read the script, I thought it was very creative, and during the process of imagining how to bring it to life through acting, I felt like I could really enjoy it.”

Park Eun bin also described Chaeni as one of the simplest characters she has portrayed so far.

The way Chaeni thinks is much simpler than the characters I’ve expressed before,” she explained. “I personally enjoyed discovering the world through such a different character, and I hope viewers will be able to follow and enjoy that fun as well.

“The Wonderfools” will premiere exclusively on Netflix on May 15.
