RESCENE will suspend all forms of fan support, including birthday projects, after receiving inappropriate gifts from fans, according to their agency THE MUZE Entertainment.
On May 21, the agency stated, “Due to an incident in which inappropriate gifts were recently delivered to our artists, we have decided to fully suspend all support activities, including birthday support, and will no longer accept such items going forward.”
The company added that the announcement was made urgently ahead of member Woni’s upcoming birthday and apologized for any concern caused to fans.
However, THE MUZE Entertainment also noted that after internal review considering fans’ sincere affection, Woni’s birthday support will be allowed to proceed until May 31.
Looking ahead, the agency emphasized that all future support items will undergo stricter internal screening procedures. Further details will be announced later.
They also issued a warning stating that if inappropriate items are found among support goods, strong legal action may be taken, and individuals responsible may face restrictions on future RESCENE activities, including possible blacklisting.
RESCENE, a five-member girl group that debuted in May 2024, is scheduled to make a comeback in July with a remake digital single.
