'Single's Inferno 4' cast member Kook Dong Ho has been swept up in school bullying allegations, with a heated back-and-forth now unfolding between the parties involved.
On May 3, a practicing lawyer identified as 'A' took to social media to accuse Kook Dong Ho by name, claiming to be a victim of school violence.
According to 'A,' during their school years, Kook Dong Ho’s alleged girlfriend, 'C,' orchestrated acts of abuse, including ordering others to strike victims with badminton rackets, placing thumbtacks on chairs, and applying strong adhesive to locker locks. A further alleged that Kook Dong Ho, who was part of a so-called delinquent group at the time, was aware of these actions and enabled them. The alleged victim also claimed that Kook Dong Ho mocked her by pretending to confess to her in front of crowds, making a laughingstock out of her.
“I lived in hell while 'Single’s Inferno 4' was airing,” 'A' wrote. “Would a perpetrator even remember the victim? It’s a society where only the victim sheds tears of blood for life, unable to forget the perpetrator’s name.”
Kook Dong Ho responded by posting a lengthy statement on his own account, saying he was speaking out “to correct false information.” He firmly denied the allegations, stating, “The claims being unilaterally made by a specific individual are entirely unfounded, and I clearly state that I have no involvement in any of these incidents.”

He added that he had never participated in or condoned acts such as striking someone with a badminton racket, placing thumbtacks, or applying glue to lockers, nor had he dated 'C' during middle school. He also dismissed the claims that he had pretended to confess to 'A' in front of crowds.
“If the one-sided claims were true, it would be right to acknowledge and apologize,” he said. “However, I find it particularly regrettable that unverified allegations consistently conclude with promotion of a law firm.” He called for an apology over what he described as defamatory claims not based on facts.
In response, 'A' issued an immediate rebuttal, releasing a summary of a phone conversation with Kook Dong Ho. 'A' claimed that Kook Dong Ho refused to apologize, stating he had “never bullied anyone in his life.” 'A' also disclosed additional allegations, including choking, spitting, extortion, and assault during a school trip.
Kook Dong Ho’s agency later stated, “Our internal investigation has confirmed that he was not involved in any school bullying,” adding that they plan to pursue civil and criminal legal action without settlement or leniency against the spread of false information and defamatory posts.
Meanwhile, Netflix responded, “As he is a private individual, we are unable to verify the claims.”
