BY Demian09 · June 5, 2026

2NE1 member Park Bom officially parted ways with D-Nation Entertainment after eight years with the agency.

On June 5, D-Nation Entertainment announced through its official social media channels that both parties had mutually agreed to terminate their exclusive contract following extensive discussions. “We would like to inform you that, after thorough discussions with Park Bom, we have mutually agreed to conclude our exclusive contract,” the agency stated.

The company explained that Park Bom has recently been focusing on recovering her health and taking time to rest. “Respecting the artist’s well-being and future career direction, we came to this decision,” the statement added.

D-Nation Entertainment also expressed gratitude for the singer’s contributions during her time with the agency. Park Bom has continued meaningful activities as a solo artist while working with us. We sincerely appreciate the time we shared together and the dedication she has shown throughout the years,” the company said. Although our exclusive contract has come to an end, we will continue to support her healthy future endeavors and new beginnings.”

The agency further thanked fans for their unwavering support, asking them to continue showing warmth and encouragement toward the singer moving forward.

D-Nation Entertainment became Park Bom’s home agency in 2018 after she left YG Entertainment, where she had spent her trainee years and debuted as a member of 2NE1. During her time at D-Nation, she resumed solo activities and participated in 2NE1’s highly anticipated reunion projects, including the group’s 15th-anniversary celebrations in 2024.

However, in August last year, Park Bom suspended all activities due to health-related reasons. Since then, she has remained on hiatus for nearly a year. During her absence, several unexpected social media posts sparked concerns among fans regarding her well-being, drawing attention to her current condition and future plans.

With the end of her contract, industry observers and fans alike are closely watching to see what the next chapter will hold for the veteran K-pop star.
