Dara launches solo chapter with first single under her own label

Singer Dara is set to embark on a new solo chapter with the release of her first single under her newly established label.

On June 9 KST, ARADNAS announced that Dara will release the single ‘rePRISM’ on June 20 at 6 PM KST through major music platforms, marking the official start of her independent activities.

The project will serve as the opening installment of a long-term musical series in which Dara plans to explore two distinct musical colors. Through the initiative, she aims to gradually expand and redefine her artistic identity.

More than simply performing the songs, Dara has taken an active role in the project’s overall planning and production. For ‘rePRISM,’ she participated in composing one of the tracks and independently wrote its lyrics, reflecting the music and message she hopes to convey.

The release is also expected to highlight Dara’s growth as a vocalist. Built around a band-driven sound, the single will feature dynamic arrangements, polished vocals, and her distinctive tone.

A representative from ARADNAS described ‘rePRISM’ as the first step in showcasing Dara’s evolving musical spectrum, adding that the project will emphasize both live performance energy and artistic versatility.

Following the single, Dara plans to release two mini albums representing different musical styles before eventually combining those concepts into a full-length studio album.

The announcement comes shortly after Dara revealed the launch of her independent label, ARADNAS, on June 8, signaling a new phase of creative freedom and solo artistry.
