On June 20, actress Nana won Best Supporting Actress at the 2026 Korea International Streaming Festival (KISF) in Busan for her role in the drama 'Climax'. She thanked her director and promised to keep showing great acting. However, the most viral moment came at the very end of her speech. She smiled and told the crowd, "Always stay healthy, beware of robbers, and be happy!"
The crowd cheered loudly because of a scary but brave event from her recent past. Last November, an armed man broke into Nana's home. Nana and her mother bravely fought the man off and caught him themselves. Amazingly, the robber tried to sue Nana for hurting him, but the police quickly ruled that she acted in self-defense.
The robber was recently sentenced to seven years in prison, but he is currently appealing the decision, claiming he did not mean to rob her. Despite this stressful ongoing legal battle, Nana is staying strong and continuing her acting career. She is currently preparing for the release of her upcoming Netflix show, 'Scandal'.
