Ahn Young Mi welcomes second son, agency confirms mother and baby are healthy

Comedian Ahn Young Mi is now a mother of two.

Her agency, Media Lab Siso, announced on June 26 that Ahn gave birth to her second son at an obstetrics and gynecology clinic in Seoul on June 25. "The mother and baby are both healthy," the agency said.

Ahn Young Mi's husband recently returned to South Korea and remained by her side for the birth. The agency added that she is currently resting and recovering with the support and care of her husband and family.

After taking sufficient time to recover, Ahn plans to return to her broadcasting activities.

"We ask everyone to congratulate and support Ahn Young Mi and her family as they welcome their precious new addition," the agency said.

Ahn married her non-celebrity husband in 2020. The couple welcomed their first son in 2023 and have now expanded their family with the birth of their second child.

Previously, Ahn Young Mi was embroiled in anchor baby allegations, being accused of attempting to give birth to her second child abroad just as she had done with her first. However, she recently shut down allegations and explained she was scheduled to give birth to her second son at an obstetrics and gynecology clinic in South Korea this July. However, she gave birth to a healthy son a few days earlier.
