BLACKPINK member Lisa has drawn attention after posting a photo of herself wearing a jersey belonging to South Korean national football star Lee Kang In.
On June 12, Lisa shared a single image on her Instagram story without any caption. In the photo, she is seen wearing a jersey featuring Lee Kang In’s name and number, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain. The post quickly gained traction among fans for its unexpected crossover between K-pop and football.
She also set the background music to “Goals,” the official World Cup anthem, which adds further anticipation to the upcoming tournament atmosphere.
“Goals” is a global collaboration track featuring Lisa, Anitta, and Rema. The song blends K-pop, Latin pop, and Afrobeats influences, and highlights themes of determination and athletic passion. It has been gaining popularity across platforms including the official FIFA YouTube channel, helping energize the tournament mood.
In addition to the jersey photo, Lisa also shared a short video showing her stepping out of a car and changing into white knee-high boots while preparing to head out. The clip included the text “D-1,” hinting that her scheduled performance at the World Cup opening ceremony is just one day away.
She is expected to perform on June 13 at 8:30 AM (Korean time) at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, where she will meet global fans during the opening ceremony.
The event is already generating major anticipation due to its star-studded lineup. Alongside Lisa, global artists including Shakira, Katy Perry, Future, and Tyla are set to take the stage, promising a high-profile celebration featuring some of the world’s biggest music icons.
