BOYNEXTDOOR has offered fans an intimate look at the creation of its first full-length album, 'HOME'.
On June 1 KST, the group released the first episode of its new content series, "HOME VIDEO", through the HYBE Labels YouTube channel. The series explores the stories and experiences behind the upcoming album and marks the first time BOYNEXTDOOR has shared such an in-depth look at its creative process.
In the opening episode, members Seongho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak gathered after a schedule to discuss album tracks “I Wonder” and “I Wonder, Always (CD Only).” The conversation touched on memories from their trainee days, the challenges they faced after debut, and the dreams they once had as rookies.
The members described 'HOME' as their most emotional release to date, explaining that honesty became the central theme throughout the project. Unlike previous works that often focused on fictional characters or imagined stories, the new album draws heavily from their own experiences, including personal memories, insecurities, and moments of growth.
They also reflected on collaborating from the earliest stages of production and expressed confidence in the final result. According to the group, concerns about a lengthy break disappeared as the album gradually came together, leaving them excited to showcase a new side of themselves.
BOYNEXTDOOR’s first full-length album 'HOME' will be released on June 8 at 6 PM KST. Featuring nine tracks, including the title song “VIRAL,” the album includes songwriting contributions from all six members and explores the emotions, struggles, and growth of youth through deeply personal storytelling.
