BOYNEXTDOOR is making a comeback with an autobiographical album.
BOYNEXTDOOR will release its first full-length album, 'HOME,' at 6 PM on June 8. The music video for the title track “VIRAL” will also be unveiled on the same day.
All members participated in the songwriting process for the new album. The group reflected on their personal experiences, incorporating thoughts and memories from their trainee days through their debut journey.
The track “06070” tells stories from their trainee period, while “Remember Me” contains messages they wanted to share with their families. “I Wonder” serves as a serenade dedicated to fans.
“Upside Down” captures the members’ determination to live each day without regrets, while “Dive” expresses the feeling of falling deeply for someone they love.
As for the title track “VIRAL,” it follows a classic K-pop structure with a clear, dynamic progression. The group shared their hope that the song will spread widely among listeners.
Fans can also look forward to a different side of BOYNEXTDOOR’s performances. Rather than their familiar carefree “boys next door” image, the group plans to showcase contrasting moods and a fresh new charm on stage.
With the new release, BOYNEXTDOOR aims to continue its upward momentum. Last year, the group achieved its third consecutive million-seller with its fifth mini album, 'The Action.'
The group also performed strongly on global charts. The album ranked No. 40 on the Billboard 200, marking BOYNEXTDOOR’s fifth consecutive entry on the chart.
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR will hold a comeback showcase later that day at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul’s Seongbuk District.
