BTS issued an official apology after the group’s Busan concert was delayed by more than an hour due to on-site operational issues, pledging to thoroughly review and improve event management for future performances.
The group held the [BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUSAN] at the Asiad Main Stadium in Yeonje District, Busan, on June 12. The concert was scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM, but due to delays in audience entry, the show started approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes later than planned, at around 8:15 PM.

In response, their agency HYBE issued an official statement through BTS’s social media accounts, apologizing to all fans who attended the event for the inconvenience caused by the delayed start.
The company explained that although they prepared extensively to ensure a smooth experience for attendees, several issues occurred simultaneously on-site. These included confusion in entry guidance, congestion during fan gift distribution, and delays in merchandise collection, all of which contributed to the postponement of the concert’s start time.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment caused to all audience members who waited for a long time,” HYBE stated. “We will carefully inspect and improve overall on-site operations, including entry procedures and gift distribution, so that similar issues do not occur in the next day’s performance.”
The agency also confirmed that all aspects of event operations will be reviewed and reinforced to prevent a recurrence of similar problems.
Meanwhile, BTS is scheduled to continue their Busan concert series on June 13, which also marks the group’s debut anniversary, where they will celebrate 13 years with fans, known as ARMY.
