BTS’s Jungkook has officially made Calvin Klein history. His collaboration collection, “Jungkook for Calvin Klein (CKJK),” has now been recognized as the brand’s most successful partnership to date.
The announcement came directly from PVH Corp., Calvin Klein’s parent company, sending fans into a frenzy.
During a recent first-quarter earnings conference call, PVH CEO Stefan Larsson described CKJK as “the biggest collaboration in Calvin Klein’s history.” He credited the project with generating “unprecedented global demand,” exceptionally strong fan engagement, and rapid sellouts across multiple regions.
Larsson also revealed several key figures behind the collaboration’s performance. The collection recorded a 99% sell-through rate on Tmall in China, while pop-up stores in Los Angeles and Harajuku sold out completely. Outerwear worn by Jungkook reached a 60% sell-through rate within just two weeks of launch, and CKJK-related products saw sales jump by more than 50% following the campaign. Larsson referred to the phenomenon as the “Jung Kook effect,” adding that it became a meaningful growth driver for Calvin Klein’s underwear and denim categories.

On June 24, PVH further spotlighted the collaboration by publishing an article on its official website titled “5 Things to Know About CKJK.” The company said the collection was inspired by Jungkook’s love of motorcycles and featured details reflecting his personal touch, including custom hardware and personalized logos.
The collection also sold out simultaneously through pop-up stores and e-commerce channels around the world, including in Asia. Calvin Klein Japan later announced that select CKJK items, which had sold out due to overwhelming demand, would be restocked on June 30.
The latest announcement has also reignited attention around a viral moment from New York Fashion Week, when Larsson personally thanked Jungkook, saying, “Thank you sincerely for everything you do for the brand. It’s truly incredible.” With PVH now making the collaboration’s impact official, many fans see the latest statement as a continuation of that public praise.
