Actors Han Hyo Joo and Gong Myung addressed dating rumors after being spotted together at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, which sparked online speculation about a possible real-life relationship. The actors clarified that their meeting was related to an upcoming drama project.

On June 11, a game between the LG Twins and the SSG Landers took place at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Songpa District, Seoul, as part of the '2026 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League' season.

During the game, Han Hyo Joo and Gong Myung were seen together in a table-seat area, drawing attention from fans in attendance. Han Hyo Joo wore an ivory shirt paired with brown sunglasses and appeared fully focused on the match. Gong Myung, dressed in an LG Twins cap and uniform with black-rimmed glasses, actively cheered throughout the game, clapping and reacting to key plays.

Gong Myung has previously expressed his support for the LG Twins through variety shows and interviews, making his presence at the stadium unsurprising to some fans. Adding to the attention, the ceremonial first pitch that day was delivered by IEMEOW, a character from 'Wish Cat,' a collaboration with LG Twins, further fueling curiosity about the actors’ joint appearance.

Online communities quickly speculated about a possible romance between the two stars. However, the rumors were soon clarified, with confirmation that Han Hyo Joo and Gong Myung are co-starring in MBC’s upcoming drama 'Your Ground.' The pair stated they “met for the drama.”

The drama tells the story of a former promising baseball player who, after a setback, meets a former lawyer-turned-sports agent and begins his journey back to the field. Gong Myung plays Kang Hae Hwan, the baseball player, while Han Hyo Joo portrays Seo Hui Seung, the sports agent guiding his comeback.

'Your Ground' is scheduled to air later this year, shifting attention from dating rumors to anticipation for the actors’ on-screen chemistry.
