HYBE’s biggest girl groups unite: LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, and KATSEYE set to release collaboration single on June 12

LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, and KATSEYE, all under HYBE Labels, are joining forces for a surprise project.

According to Source Music, BELIFT LAB, and HYBE x Geffen Records on June 8, the three groups will release the collaborative digital single 'ICONIC BY MISTAKE' on June 12 at 1 PM KST.

Ahead of the official release, the artists will unveil the song’s first joint performance on June 11 through Mnet’s 'M Countdown.'

The collaboration is drawing major attention as it brings together some of HYBE’s most powerful girl group IPs in one project.

LE SSERAFIM recently landed at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 with their second full-length album 'PUREFLOW' pt.1, extending their streak of five consecutive albums entering the chart’s Top 10. ILLIT has also been seeing strong results in both Korea and Japan with their latest track, "It’s Me."

Meanwhile, KATSEYE took home three trophies, including New Artist of the Year, at last month’s American Music Awards.

On the same day, HYBE labels revealed a logo teaser. The clip begins with soft feathers and peaceful sounds before suddenly shifting as the screen violently shakes and feathers scatter apart. The teaser ends with the powerful line, “I’m iconic by mistake,” heightening anticipation among global fans with its striking visuals and addictive melody.

The agencies shared, “There is growing excitement surrounding the meeting of global icons, each loved for their distinct musical color. The three teams have frequently interacted through challenge videos and other content, showcasing special chemistry together. Naturally, conversations began about how great it would be if they one day shared the same stage.”

On June 9 KST, the three groups unveiled the MV teaser showing a dark cinematic narrative starring all 15 girls. The collaborative track drops on June 12, so stay tuned for more information and teasers until then!
