ILLIT's Moka halts activities again due to health concerns

ILLIT's Moka is suspending activities once again due to ongoing health concerns.

On June 19, agency BELIFT LAB posted a notice titled “Announcement Regarding ILLIT Moka’s Condition and Schedule” on the fan communication platform Weverse.

According to the company, Moka has been receiving treatment and focusing on recovery since preparations for the group’s fourth mini-album, after experiencing excessive tension and symptoms of anxiety.

Although she participated in some schedules following her initial hiatus, the agency determined that she continued to face difficulties returning to full activities.

“After careful consideration, we concluded that she needs a more stable period of rest to achieve a full recovery,” the company explained.

Following extensive discussions with Moka and the other members, it was decided that she would temporarily suspend all activities and concentrate on restoring her health.

“We are deeply sorry to deliver this news to the fans who have been waiting for her,” BELIFT LAB said. “Moka is also very disappointed that she will not be able to meet fans during this time.”

ILLIT will continue promotions as a four-member group until Moka returns. The agency pledged to provide all necessary support to help her recover and regain stability.

Moka previously announced a hiatus on April 20. She returned to group activities approximately seven weeks later and appeared on music programs, but continued to show signs of anxiety.

Since the preparations for ILLIT’s fourth mini-album, Moka has been undergoing treatment and recovery while coping with excessive tension and symptoms of anxiety. Driven by her strong desire to meet fans, she participated in some activities, including appearances during the final week of music show promotions. However, after careful discussions with Moka and the members, we determined that a more stable period of rest is necessary for her full recovery.

As a result, Moka has decided to suspend all activities for the time being and focus on recovering her health.

We are very sorry to share this news with the fans who have been waiting for her. Moka is also deeply disappointed that she will not be able to meet fans during this period.

ILLIT will continue activities as a four-member group for the time being. We will spare no effort in providing the support necessary for Moka’s recovery and stability so that she can return to her fans in good health.
