Jay Park clashes with LNGSHOT fans over concerns of ongoing 'sideline' treatment

Musician/producer Jay Park is clashing with fans of LNGSHOT online over growing concerns of the group's alleged "sideline" treatment. 

Following their debut under Jay Park's MORE VISION in January, LNGSHOT quickly garnered attention with titles such as "Jay Park's sons".

However, some fans of LNGSHOT believe that the group's continued promotions as "Jay Park's sons" has gotten out of hand. In fact, beginning with the release of the group's 2nd mixtape '4SHOBOIZ Vol. 2: 4SHOVILLE', MORE VISION has been promoting Jay Park and LNGSHOT as a 2-in-1 package. Jay Park participated in the mixtape not only as a producer, song writer, and lyricist, but also as a singer and performer, appearing together with the members in the MV, on music program performances, and primarily taking up the center spot for other content such as SNS challenges and more. 

Fans of LNGSHOT finally felt that the 2-in-1 promotion crossed the line when Jay Park announced his 2026 world tour earlier this week. Titled 'JAY PARK 2026 WORLD TOUR with LNGSHOT : Serenades & Body Rolls', the tour features Jay Park as the main act with LNGSHOT appearing as a guest artist. The tour is scheduled to make stops in Latin America, North America, and Europe from September through October.

When many fans began raising voices of concern, claiming that the members of LNGSHOT were being treated like "back dancers", Jay Park snapped back with sarcasm, writing,

Some fans are now interpreting the musician/producer's SNS comments as "mocking and ridiculing fans who genuinely want what's best for LNGSHOT", further exacerbating the controversy. 

Meanwhile, LNGSHOT is a 4-member group made up of members Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin, and Louis.
