BY Minsoo-Kim · June 11, 2026

Queenz Eye is drawing increasing global attention with its latest title track, “Y2K.”

The group recently achieved notable success on YouTube, with the music video for “Y2K” ranking No. 15 on YouTube Korea’s Daily Top Music Videos chart on June 8. The song also performed strongly on YouTube’s Daily Shorts Popular Songs chart, reaching No. 17 in Korea and No. 26 in Japan, highlighting its growing appeal among international audiences.

The “Y2K” music video showcases Queenz Eye’s confident and free-spirited charm while reimagining early-2000s aesthetics through a modern lens. Featuring vibrant visuals, energetic performances, and nostalgic elements such as flip phones, digital cameras, and bold accessories, the video effectively captures the essence of the Y2K era with a contemporary twist.

The song’s success extends beyond traditional music video views. Its addictive melody, easy-to-follow choreography, and nostalgic concept have resonated with short-form content creators, fueling organic growth across social media platforms and helping the track reach a wider audience.

The YouTube Shorts Popular Songs chart reflects music that is actively used in short-form videos, making it a strong indicator of real-time engagement from global users. By charting simultaneously in both Korea and Japan, “Y2K” has demonstrated its potential to expand beyond the domestic market.

Queenz Eye returned on May 28 with its second mini album, 'PRISM EP.02,' continuing the group’s musical journey following 'PRISM EP.01.' The new release blends the group’s signature powerful identity with a more accessible pop sound.

The title track “Y2K” is a pop anthem that reinterprets the energy and nostalgia of the early 2000s through modern production. Its catchy melody, nostalgic atmosphere, and playful homage elements have earned positive responses from listeners and contributed to the song’s growing popularity worldwide.
