Seo In Young opens up about remarriage with businessman fiancé, “We kissed on the day we met”

Singer Seo In Young publicly addressed speculation surrounding her fiancé and shared details about her upcoming marriage, offering candid insights into her personal life through her YouTube channel.

On June 9, Seo released a video titled 'Seo In Young Reveals Her Marriage Thoughts for the First Time (Misunderstandings, Truths, and Wedding Ceremony)' on her channel.

In the video, Seo acknowledged the divided public response to news of her remarriage. “I am aware that reactions are mixed, with both support and concern,” she said. “Because my first marriage ended in divorce, I understand why people may feel worried.”

She also spoke about the emotional difficulties she experienced following her previous marriage. “After my first marriage ended, I suffered from severe depression, and even my father advised me not to marry again,” Seo said. “I never thought I would consider marriage again, but meeting my fiancé changed my perspective.”

According to Seo, the couple was introduced through an acquaintance and formed an immediate connection upon meeting. “We kissed on the first day we met,” she said. “Since then, we have continued dating every day.”

She added that her fiancé also felt a strong sense of certainty about their relationship from the beginning. “He said that when he met me, he felt he should marry me,” Seo noted.

Seo also addressed misconceptions regarding her fiancé’s profession and financial status. She clarified that while he is described as a businessman, he is primarily a working company executive. “There are claims that he is a businessman, but he is more accurately a hardworking corporate executive rather than someone who earns excessive wealth,” she said. “He is a workaholic.”

Reflecting on her evolving views on relationships, Seo stated that her priorities have changed over time. “I used to think financial stability was most important, but now I value sincerity and diligence,” she said. “His hardworking nature is what I find most attractive.”

She further described her fiancé as serious and principled. “He is very sincere and not particularly humorous. He is a very upright person,” Seo said. “At first, I even wondered if someone like him would be compatible with me.”
