V8, new sub-unit of the boy group SEVENTEEN featuring members The8 and Vernon, has given fans a thrilling preview of their upcoming title track "singasong" through a pre-released dance challenge.
On June 19, V8 uploaded a short video clip on SEVENTEEN’s official Instagram account, showcasing a part of the audio and performance for the title track of their upcoming first mini-album. Although the video runs under 30 seconds, the track's sophisticated production and the duo's effortless, natural groove have already sent fans' expectations soaring.
For track "singasong", V8 teamed up with German producer and DJ Mechatok to deliver an electronic song deeply rooted in the hyperpop genre. The collaboration marks an exciting crossover between The8 and Vernon, who have been leading the K-pop mainstream, and Mechatok, a rising star in the European electronic music scene.

V8 will officially drop their first mini-album, V8, on June 29, which boasts a packed tracklist of eight songs including "singasong." Recognized for their creative distinctiveness through both group activities and various personal projects, The8 and Vernon took the creative helm of the album's production, joining forces with renowned domestic and international subculture producers such as Pharrell Williams, KIRARA, and Dylan Brady.
