BY Minsoo-Kim · June 9, 2026

Stray Kids delivered a powerful headline performance at New York’s 'The Governors Ball Music Festival', bringing the sold-out event’s second day to a spectacular close.

On June 6 (local time), the group took the main stage at Flushing Meadows Corona Park as one of the festival’s headliners. One of New York’s largest outdoor music festivals, Governors Ball sold out all three days of this year’s event. Stray Kids joined a star-studded lineup that included Lorde, A$AP Rocky, Baby Keem, Kali Uchis, and Jennie.

Performing in front of approximately 45,000 fans, Stray Kids opened with a dramatic anthem before launching into a nonstop set featuring fan favorites including “TOPLINE,” “S-Class,” “Bounce Back,” “MANIAC,” “DOMINO,” and “Thunderous.” The group further elevated the performance with visually striking stage elements inspired by Korean traditional aesthetics during songs such as “MOUNTAINS,” “Walkin On Water,” and “God’s Menu.”

The energy continued with rock-inspired arrangements of “Chk Chk Boom,” “ITEM,” “LALALALA,” and “Social Path,” while EDM-infused versions of “Side Effects,” “Do It,” and “CEREMONY” intensified the festival atmosphere. Backed by a live band, the members showcased their commanding stage presence and explosive performance skills, drawing enthusiastic singalongs from the crowd.

Stray Kids closed the set with “Blind Spot” and “MIROH,” leaving a lasting impression and reinforcing their reputation as one of today’s premier live acts.

With headline appearances already secured at major festivals including Lollapalooza Paris, I-Days, BST Hyde Park, and Lollapalooza Chicago, the group continues to strengthen its status as a global festival powerhouse. Later this year, Stray Kids will headline Rock in Rio in Brazil and lead the newly launched STRAYCITY festival series across Latin America, including stops in Bogotá, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City.
