'Weak Hero' production team warns fans about fake street casting scams for 'Weak Hero Class 3'

The production company behind the 'Weak Hero' series has issued a warning regarding fraudulent casting approaches targeting the public.

On June 2, Playlist uploaded an official notice on social media titled "Notice Regarding Fake Casting Scams." The company revealed that false casting cases related to 'Weak Hero Class 3' had recently surfaced.

According to the statement, an individual had been impersonating a casting staff member. A representative stressed, “We are not conducting any separate street casting.”

The company continued, “These street casting attempts have absolutely no connection to us, so please do not respond to them under any circumstances,” adding, “If you come across similar cases, please report them immediately.”

'Weak Hero' is a popular school action drama starring Park Ji Hoon as the lead character Yeon Si Eun. Season 1 was released through Wavve, while Season 2 premiered on Netflix.

The series received explosive popularity worldwide. In particular, 'Weak Hero Class 2' debuted at No. 1 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Series chart in the non-English category immediately after its release.

Meanwhile, production for 'Weak Hero Class 3' has not yet been confirmed.
