IDID, the new boy group introduced through Starship Entertainment’s large-scale project Debut’s Plan, is set to make their pre-debut appearance in the K-pop scene on July 24.
On July 13, Starship officially announced IDID’s pre-debut through a series of teaser videos released on the group’s official social media channels. The group consists of seven members: Jang Yong Hoon, Kim Min Jae, Park Won Bin, Chu Yoo Chan, Park Sung Hyun, Baek Jun Hyuk, and Jung Se Min.
IDID was formed through Debut’s Plan, Starship’s major global project. True to their name, which reflects a spirit of perseverance and achievement (“I did it”), the group had already impressed audiences with their special stage performances of the track "CROWN" on various music shows—before even making their official debut.
As Starship’s first new boy group launch in about five years, IDID is drawing attention as a leading force of the fifth-generation K-pop wave. Their pre-debut on July 24 marks the beginning of their journey with global K-pop fans.
