RESCENE embarks on a journey for freedom in “Runaway” MV

RESCENE unveiled the official music video for “Runaway” on April 8, delivering a visually compelling story set in a tightly controlled boarding school. 

In the MV, the members are constantly monitored as they study and train in ballet, symbolizing a life bound by restriction. Despite this, they long to escape, ultimately coming together to stop a ticking mechanism hidden inside a wardrobe before fleeing into the forest. The video concludes with the members facing a rising sun, capturing a powerful sense of liberation and new beginnings.

“Runaway” highlights RESCENE’s evolving musical direction and their determination to carve out a unique identity. Driven by a forward-moving rhythm, the track blends dreamy guitar layers with futuristic synth sounds, creating a dynamic balance of tension and momentum. The song reflects the group’s ambition to push boundaries while staying true to their artistic vision.

More than a simple narrative of escape, “Runaway” carries a deeper message about self-determination and growth. The track symbolizes RESCENE’s journey toward defining their own path and completing their true selves, both as individuals and as a group.  

Following the release, RESCENE will begin promotions with a performance on Mnet’s 'M Countdown' on April 9, kicking off a series of music show appearances.
