Jimin is well-known for his astronomical brand power. His impact is felt in all kinds of fields with all kinds of brands, irrespective of product pricing. This impact is exactly what data collected on consumer behavior by the Korean Institute of Research shows. This institute releases brand reputation rankings for idols in South Korea every month. The ranking is a gauge of an idol's marketability in business matters, based on how the public perceives the idol. High-ranking idols on this index are favorites when it comes to brand endorsement deals, among other collaborations with businesses. Jimin has ranked first in the brand reputation for individual boy group members for 32 consecutive months and 34 months overall, as of the August 2021 ranking.
Moreover, he previously ranked first in the Gallup survey for 'Korea's most preferred idol' for two consecutive years (2018 and 2019), being the first male idol to even rise to number one in this survey, and the only one to rank first for two years straight.
Thus, it is safe to say that Jimin is a household name not just domestically but also internationally. His brand power continues to be proven, as seen in the past few days where he sold out different clothing items within hours of him being seen wearing them.
On September 7, BTS's variety show RUN BTS aired episode 150. All episodes usually air each Tuesday at 9 pm KST. Here, Jimin was seen wearing a '1993 StudioCheck Tower Robe' going for $73.

In under 4 hours after the show had aired, the robe that Jimin had been wearing was reported to have been sold out in all sizes on the official website.
The robe was in stocks couple of hours ago (cf. picture attached) but the sales skyrocketed after Jimin was seen wearing it. His brand power knows no limit!

Jimin wore a 'RHUDE THEORIST TEE' t-shirt going for $219. This announcement was made on September 3, 12 pm KST on the IN THE SOOP Official account on Twitter.

This is not the first time that Jimin has led products to be out of stock. He has been known to sell out items from high-end brands like Louis Vuitton, including expensive pendants and clothes. He also previously sold out an Alexander McQueen necklace worth $890.

Further, he recently sold out Cardigans and Dr. Martens' boots from the "Butter" album unboxing video and "Permission to Dance" dance practice video, along with the "LOVER" T-shirt in the group interview photo for the release of the album 'Butter' that was released in Weverse magazine. The t-shirt sold out in all colors.

He also sold out his individual photocards from the group's collaboration with Tokopedia, first round in under 6 minutes and second round in just a few seconds.

Other items he has sold out include FILA clothes, hats, and hoodies, as well as Converse sneakers and Sunglasses from Gentle Monster and Stephan Christian. There have also been instances of lip balm, gloves, and beverages being sold out after Jimin had been seen with them.

These are just a few of the many instances where Jimin's impact has been witnessed. He has also been recognized for his impact on the market position and sales volumes of Samsung, following BTS's brand ambassadorship deal with the company. He was reported to have impacted the sales of the Galaxy S20 model, and he has also been at the forefront of the #GalaxyZFlip3 campaigns as several fans posted video clips and photos of them having bought the phone because of Jimin on their social media pages https://www.allkpop.com/articl.... On September 8, Japanese media Oricon music did a report on him being a highlight in the advertisements for the new phone models by Samsung. Notably, Samsung official accounts had also highlighted this part as they posted the exact moment on their official Twitter accounts when the phones were launched.

Therefore, it does not matter what kind of item it is, nor its price tag. Anything that Jimin touches will generate high demand from buyers and possibly end up getting sold out within short periods of time. He is a true brand king.
