BTS' Jimin is named as 'special docent' for the upcoming Futura x BTS art exhibition

On November 17, media reports from South Korea indicated that Jimin had been named as a 'special docent' for the upcoming 'Futura' art exhibition featuring BTS, the first-ever in the country. A docent is a person who plays the role of a guide in centers like museums or galleries, typically on a voluntary basis. 

Here, Jimin has especially been selected as the only one to give the audio commentary for the exhibition, and visitors will be able to listen to his voice through a mobile app. The message to be conveyed is the desire to 'listen to the inner self without being trapped by the persona defined by society'. 

Futura used his plastic character 'FL-006', and each member will be projected onto a sculpture made in colors of BTS' selection.

Futura is a legendary name in American graffiti art, highly influential in the street style, and known for his signature abstract approach. He is also known for his collaborations with several well-known global fashion brands. The exhibition will be held at Hybe Insight and is expected to run from November 30, 2021, to May 29, 2022.
