Just a day earlier, on November 5, another volleyball player, this time from Brazil, also declared Jimin to be his favorite BTS member. In an interview with CNN Brazil, Douglas Souza, who won a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics and the 2019 FIVB World Cup, named Jimin when asked who his favorite BTS member is. This would be the second time he has said this, another being when he posted on his Instagram stories answering the same question with a Jimin face sticker.

Jimin has also received attention from other prominent athletes over the past few months, such as from the two-times Olympics gold medalist Yuzuru Hanyu, who expressed his admiration for Jimin's dance skills and beautiful body lines, saying that he felt there were things he could learn from him and that he could incorporate into his own performances.
Another athlete Park Inbee, a Korean pro-golfer who won a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics, was also spotted with a Chimmy plushie during his LPGA tour. Chimmy is a BT21 character created by Jimin, and the character has been known to enjoy massive popularity, which also reflects the creator's popularity.

In music, a fan-edited a video of Jimin using clips from the 'BTS 2022 Season's Greetings' preview, where Jimin's concept was the alley cat. Jimin blew fans away with his mesmerizing looks and how well he executed the concept, which saw him trend worldwide just minutes after the video clip's release. This fan-edited video used the song 'Sad Girlz Luv Money Remix' by Amaarae, a Ghanaian-American singer, songwriter, producer, and sound engineer. He had also previously mentioned how Jimin had left a lasting impression on him with how he touched his heart with his 'I Need You' solo performance at the end-year music award show, the 2019 Melon Music Awards.
