JYP Entertainment (hereinafter JYP) has become the first in the industry to receive an international certification for Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001) from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
On January 19, JYP and BSI Korea (represented by Lim Sung Hwan) held the 'Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001) International Certification Award Ceremony' at JYP headquarters in Seongnae-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by JYP CEO Jung Wook, BSI Korea CEO Lim Sung Hwan, and other relevant parties.
ISO 37001 is an international standard for Anti-Bribery Management Systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2016, based on international consensus. It refers to a comprehensive international standard for preventing and supervising corrupt practices within an organization, such as bribery, embezzlement, and corruption-related activities by employees or third parties. It specifies the requirements necessary for an organization to be free from corruption and bribery, providing guidelines for implementation.

JYP Entertainment has diligently undertaken a comprehensive assessment of its organization's corruption risks to secure the ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System certification. This achievement, accredited by the British Standards Institution, marks JYP as the first Korean entertainment company to receive this distinction. The British Standards Institution, established in 1901, is a globally respected authority in standards development.
This certification affirms JYP's commitment to maintaining a governance system of international caliber. JYP's dedication to ethical business practices aligns with the principles of the UN Global Compact, focusing on ESG management, enhancing its governance system globally, and adhering to stringent anti-corruption protocols.
In March 2022, JYP further reinforced its governance by appointing new female external directors, enhancing board independence and diversity. The company actively pursues environmental initiatives, including the eco-friendly CSR project 'Love Earth,' participation in the '1% for the Planet' global network, and the RE100 campaign to use 100% renewable energy.
Notably, JYP is the home to talented artists and actors, including 2PM, DAY6, TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY, Xdinary Heroes, NMIXX, and actors Shin Ye Eun and Kim Dong Hee. These efforts collectively underscore JYP's role as a responsible and forward-thinking player in the global entertainment industry.
