
According to media outlet reports on October 25 KST, actress Kim Soo Mi has passed away this morning at the age of 75.
Previously, Kim Soo Mi halted her broadcast appearances in May and July of this year due to repeated hospitalizations. She then resumed broadcast appearances in September, but viewers continued to raise concerns over her poor health conditions.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo Mi debuted as an MBC-affiliated talent in 1970. She is most well-known for productions such as 'Hello, Franceska' (2005), 'Band of Sisters' (2017), and the popular film series 'Marrying The Mafia' (2002-2023).
[UPDATE] Kim Soo Mi's son has confirmed that his mother passed away from hyperglycemic shock. Her wake will be set up at Hanyang University Hospital.
