Monika to sit out from performing on 'World of Street Woman Fighter' due to pregnancy + 'Team Korea' recruits Lip J in her place

In a new pre-broadcast episode of Mnet's 'World of Street Woman Fighter' aired on February 13 KST, 'Team Korea' confirmed its main lineup, composed of Honey J, Aiki, Ri.hey, Hyojin Choi, Gabi, No:ze, Leejung, and Lip J. 

On this episode, the team leaders of 'Street Woman Fighter' gathered to discuss the future of 'Team Korea', in light of Monika's pregnancy. Regarding her condition, Monika honestly expressed, "I can still practice. But as for if I can perform on stage, I'm worried that I won't be able to control my own energy if I get too excited. I still want to be a part of this team, but I guess I want to participate more in the outside matters? As a sort of dad or coach."

Monika then added on, "So I would like to suggest someone who can fill in for me, my own Pokemon." 

The team leaders then called Lip J, sub-leader of PROWDMON, asking her to name the strengths which she could contribute to 'Team Korea'. Lip J revealed, "I can dance. I'm also a good communicator. I think that helps in a dance battle. Also, I'm fun."

Hearing this, Leejung told Lip J on behalf of the team, "Unnie, you're officially in." 

Later on, the leaders also came up with team name candidates. They settled on 3 candidates total, including GTGL (Gather Together with Global Leaders; also "You wanna get beat up?" in Korean), BUMS UP (Unapproachable; also "beom" in Korean means "tiger", representing the country's national animal), and Le Spicy (combining "leaders" and "spicy"). 

Fans can vote on their favorite team name for 'Team Korea' through The Choom's official YouTube channel until February 20 at midnight KST. Meanwhile, 'World of Street Woman Fighter' is set to premiere in May.
