IVE has officially launched a double hit streak with their latest comeback promotions.
The group returned on February 23 with their second full album ‘REVIVE+’ and began music show promotions on February 26 through Mnet’s ‘M Countdown,’ followed by KBS2’s ‘Music Bank,’ MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core,’ and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo,’ where they performed one of their double title tracks, “BLACKHOLE.”
The group’s other double title track, “BANG BANG,” continues its impressive record streak. During the same week they kicked off “BLACKHOLE” promotions, IVE took home first place trophies for “BANG BANG” on ‘M Countdown,’ ‘Music Bank,’ ‘Show! Music Core,’ and ‘Inkigayo,’ achieving a music show grand slam with four wins.
As of 9 AM on March 2, “BANG BANG” continues to hold No. 1 on major Korean real time and daily charts, maintaining a Perfect All Kill (PAK) and proving the strength of the ongoing “IVE syndrome.”
‘REVIVE+’ expands IVE’s message from individual “self confidence” to a broader “we,” showcasing a more diverse musical spectrum through various genres and narratives. Meanwhile, “BLACKHOLE” has also entered the upper ranks of domestic charts and is steadily climbing on major overseas charts, signaling continued momentum.
With the addictive energy of “BANG BANG” and the powerful performance driven appeal of “BLACKHOLE,” IVE has successfully launched a dual title track success story, and attention is now focused on what new records the group will set next.
