Rookie boy group CORTIS has just achieved an exciting new milestone.
On April 15, it was revealed that stock pre-orders for CORTIS’s upcoming mini album ‘GREENGREEN’ have now surpassed 2 million. The current number of stock pre-orders is reported to be over 2,020,000, marking a personal record for CORTIS.
Stock pre-orders are the amount of physical albums that are produced before the album’s release, in anticipation of buyer demand. The number of stock pre-orders is largely determined by the amount of albums pre-ordered by fans, as well as other factors.
Just two weeks ago, CORTIS gained additional attention when pre-orders for ‘GREENGREEN’ surpassed 1.22 million copies. ‘GREENGREEN’ is projected to rapidly surpass the sales of CORTIS’s debut album ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES’ – which marked the best-selling debut album in K-pop history.
Anticipation for CORTIS’s first ever comeback is high, as fans wait to see what the explosively-popular boy group has prepared this time. CORTIS is set to release the title track ‘REDRED’ on April 20, with the full mini album to follow on May 4.
