Rain is set to return as a singer following his striking performance as villain Baek Jung in the 'Bloodhounds Season 2'.
According to his agency Rain Company, Rain will release a new single titled “FEEL IT (Neoya)” on May 11. The comeback signals a complete shift from his intense on-screen persona, with the artist embracing a more relaxed mood and a refined tuxedo-inspired concept.
“FEEL IT (Neoya)” marks Rain’s first attempt at a groovy, upbeat R&B pop sound, offering a contrast to his signature performance-driven tracks. The lyrics of “Neoya,” meaning “It’s You,” go beyond a specific person and instead represent the small, joyful moments in everyday life. The song conveys messages of “Fill it up”, filling life with things you love, and “Feel it,” encouraging listeners to enjoy the present.
Rain shared, “While I’ve focused on delivering perfectly crafted performances on stage, this time I wanted to create music that feels more relaxed and easy to enjoy in daily life. I hope it becomes a song people can listen to comfortably on their way home from work, while driving, or during casual moments.”
Following the release, Rain plans to continue his activities with a tribute stage at the ‘Weverse Con Festival’ in June, as well as a solo concert later this year, further expanding his musical spectrum.
