Billboard has unveiled its 2026 Women in Music honorees, featuring SM Entertainment’s Mina Jungmin Choi (Chief Global Officer) and Ji Won Kim (Chief Relations Officer) for the second consecutive year.
The annual list recognizes influential women across the music industry—including artists, creators, and executives—who are driving innovation and shaping the future of the business.
This year’s recognition follows a strong showing in 2025, when both executives were also named alongside aespa, which received the “Group of the Year” award.
Choi oversees global business and branding across major markets including North America, Europe, and Asia, while Kim is a seasoned PR strategist who has played a central role in shaping the external communications and marketing strategies of SM artists and the company since the early 2000s.
Earlier this year, SM Entertainment unveiled its “SM NEXT 3.0” strategy, outlining its post-30th anniversary vision and long-term direction. Building upon the foundation of SM 3.0, the strategy focuses on establishing a sustainable growth model through an artist-centered multi-creative production system, expansion of global IP, and the advancement of AI-driven production technologies.
