THE BOYZ denies agency’s ‘payment completed’ claim amid dispute

BY Minsoo-Kim · April 22, 2026

THE BOYZ has officially refuted its agency’s claim that all payments have been completed.

On April 22 KST, the group’s legal representative, law firm Yulchon, released a statement saying, “All artists have not received any payments, including unpaid earnings for the third and fourth quarters of 2025, both at the time the agency claimed settlements were completed and up to now.”

The statement further asserted that even before filing for an injunction to suspend their exclusive contracts, the agency had repeatedly delayed and reversed payment deadlines, with no proper payments ever made. It added that the agency had promised to settle the outstanding amounts and delayed interest by specific dates during legal proceedings, but no payments were actually carried out.

THE BOYZ also warned against what they described as the agency’s attempts to mislead public opinion with false claims and baseless criticism toward the artists and their legal team. They emphasized that if such actions continue, they will take firm legal action, including both civil and criminal measures.

Previously, the nine members of THE BOYZ filed a complaint against CEO Cha Ga Won on charges of embezzlement under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes.

In response, the agency ONE HUNDRED stated on April 21 that the embezzlement allegations were false and maintained that it has faithfully fulfilled its settlement obligations to the group.
