Kim Heechul explains why he is resting

Super Junior's Kim Heechul has indirectly shared his thoughts after rumors about his health started when he took a break from 'Knowing Bros'.

On the 3rd, Heechul replied to a post by Jang Sung Kyu. The post said, "I can't believe Heechul, who helped me grow, is leaving 'Knowing Bros'.."

According to Heechul's reply shared by Jang Sung Kyu, he talked about the health rumors. He said, "I am getting a lot of worried phone calls from people I know." He calmly added, "I was sad for a moment because I didn't want viewers to see me looking unwell, but this time off will also help me recharge."

Heechul also showed his deep love for the show. He said, "There is a filming schedule every week, but the show and the team are being very kind to me." He explained, "This show is very special to me. Because my friend Kim Shin Young is joining, I can rest easily. Even though I am lacking, as long as I am on TV, I always want to be with the viewers." He also made sure to greet his fans, adding, "I hope all the viewers stay healthy until the day we meet again."

Earlier on the 30th of last month, the 'Knowing Bros' staff officially announced that original member Kim Hee Chul is taking a break for health reasons. He has been with the show for almost 10 years since the first episode in 2015.

Kim Shin Young will take his place while he is gone. She will be the first regular female member. The staff showed confidence in this change, saying, "We expect Kim Shin Young to bring fresh energy to the show with her unique sense and quick wit."
